<p>Chuck Mangino posted a video last year that explains how a maser — microwave laser — mounted on a 747 airplane could be shot into funnel clouds to disrupt their patterns. It broke the 2,000-view mark on YouTube.com this morning, the result of interest after Monday’s devastation in <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://oklahomanewspress.com" title="Oklahoma News">Oklahoma</a></span>, Mangino said.</p>

<p>District Attorney Jimmy Dunn said a former police officer in Bean Station was taken into custody shortly after the shooting and robbery Thursday at the Down Home Pharmacy.</p>
<p>Dunn said the former officer, 37-year-old Jason B. Holt, took &#8220;a large quantity of pills&#8221; during the late-morning robbery.</p>

(AP) — State officials say that automotive seat manufacturer NHK Seating of America Inc. plans to expand its facility in <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://murfreesboronewspress.com" title="Murfreesboro">Murfreesboro</a></span>, adding 94 jobs in the process.</p>
<p>Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said Thursday that the company&#8217;s expansion represents a $6.8 million investment in Rutherford County.</p>
<p>Fred Myers, plant manager of NHK&#8217;s <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://murfreesboronewspress.com" title="Murfreesboro">Murfreesboro</a></span> facility, says the company is adding employees and capital equipment to support increasing production volume.</p>

Car Seat Inspection Station</font></p>
<p dir="LTR">Twenty additional personnel from <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://murfreesboronewspress.com" title="Murfreesboro">Murfreesboro</a></span> Fire  Rescue Department became Child Safety Seat Technicians Wednesday after completing a three day course at the <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span> Fire and Codes Academy in Deason, <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span>.</p>
<p dir="LTR">The final requirement of the class was a Child Safety Seat Inspection Station at Station 9 on Cason Lane where students received the opportunity to experience first-hand, installing a car seat and instructing parents how to do so correctly and safely.</p>

<p>Time is running out to register for Camp Forget-Me-Not, Alive Hospice’s summer day camp in <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://murfreesboronewspress.com" title="Murfreesboro">Murfreesboro</a></span> for grieving kids.</p>
<p>Tuesday, May 28 is the last day to register.</p>
