						Friday, rock came down in North Carolina in the closed section, seven miles from the <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span> state line.</p>
<p>DOT said late Saturday that crews would be done cleaning up about 600 tons of rock by 6 a.m. today. Part of the job was taking an additional 150 tons of loose rock off the mountain above the road so stones would not fall.</p>

<p>What&#8217;s more convenient than getting real-time traffic information on your smartphone?</p>
<p>The <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span> Department on Transportation has issued its official 2012 state transportation map to assist travellers in their commute planning.</p>
<p>This year&#8217;s map contains a &#8220;quick response code,&#8221; or QR code, that will allow users to scan and link to TDOT&#8217;s mobile web application, TDOT SmartWay Mobile.</p>

						Friday, rock came down in North Carolina in the closed section, seven miles from the <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span> state line.</p>
<p>DOT said late Saturday that crews would be done cleaning up about 600 tons of rock by 6 a.m. today. Part of the job was taking an additional 150 tons of loose rock off the mountain above the road so stones would not fall.</p>

<p class="BODYCOPY">The Auburn women’s basketball team (11-12, 3-7 SEC) will go on the road for the first game of a two-game road swing Sunday as the Tigers travel to No. 8 <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span> (16-6, 7-2 SEC). The game will air live on the SEC Network and will tip at 1 p.m. from Thompson-Boling Arena.</p>
<p class="BODYCOPY">Both Auburn and <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span> are coming off close losses heading into the game. The Tigers dropped a close 66-61 decision to Vanderbilt on Thursday while a late 9-0 run led South  Carolina over <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://tennesseenewspress.com" title="Tennessee">Tennessee</a></span>, 64-60.</p>
