Markets bring goods from farm to table
Birds are chirping, the sun is shining, flowers are blooming and local residents can get fresher produce straight from local farmers’ hands.
The Rutherford County Farmers’ Market kicks off its 2012 season at 7 a.m. Friday and continues every Tuesday and Friday morning through Oct. 30 at Lane Agri-Park, located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro.
Touted as a producer-only farmers’ market, the sale draws vendors from more than 20 Middle Tennessee counties who sell a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, baked and canned
