MTSU tees off today in hopes of conference title

MURFREESBORO — As is almost always the case, the MTSU men’s golf team will be among the top three favorites to win the Sun Belt Conference tournament and championship that begins today.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held for the fourth consecutive year at the Robert Trent Jones “Fighting Joe” course in Muscle Shoals, Ala. It is a long, challenging course, much like the Blue Raiders faced last week at North Carolina State.
