MURFREESBORO — City Councilman Toby Gilley led the way with campaign fundraising of $19,150 for today’s city election.
Vice Mayor Chris Bratcher was runner-up by raising $17,070, and fellow incumbent Ron Washington was third by collecting $7,673.
They took in far more than the five challengers: Connor Moss, $2,482.66; Danny Brandon, $2,500; Bill Jakes, $2,028.97; Rick Turner, an estimated $2,000, including a $1,000 loan; Eddie L. Smotherman, $1,500, including a $500 loan.
