MURFREESBORO — A Riverdale teacher that is currently suspended without pay while the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office conducts a criminal investigation, was suspended without pay two weeks earlier for making an inappropriate comment to students in his class.
Drama teacher and tennis coach Matt Curry was suspended March 28-30 after it was determined that he made the comment regarding a “sitcom skit” in what students could or could not say, according to a summary of the findings from an investigation by schools attorney
