HUDGINS: Record Store Day prompts new phone app
Calling all music lovers: The Vinyl District has launched an app just in time for Record Store Day.
“It’s the first app specifically for fans of vinyl, and for folks who would like to support that fast vanishing breed – the brick mortar independent record store,” Tim Broun, spokesman for the app.
“Besides having a feed from the website, The Vinyl District, the app features a geo-location record store finding tool which is also keyword searchable (helpful when planning a trip to a strange city).”
