IDB to consider new applicants

MURFREESBORO — A banker, judge, utility manager and dentist are competing for the opening with the Rutherford County Industrial Development Board.
The County Commission’s Steering, Legislative Governmental Committee will consider the IDB applicants during a meeting that starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Room 205 of the County Courthouse on the Public Square in Murfreesboro.
Any committee recommendation will next be considered by the full 21-member commission, which is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 16.
