Drive-by shooting in South Knoxville leaves one man injured
KNOXVILLE — The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a South Knoxville drive-by shooting tonight — the second shooting with injuries in as many days.
The shooting was reported at 6:12 p.m. at Southmont Apartments, 1415 E. Moody Ave., when 3 or 4 male suspects in a small, silver four-door vehicle opened fire as they drove past the complex.
A male victim standing in the courtyard at the time was shot in his arm, according to KPD Sgt. Jason Keck.
