Smyrna Theater Offers Kids Films Cheap; Murfreesboro Youth Welcome
Smyrna’s Malco Roxy Theater will be hosting a Kids Summer Film Fest starting June 1 and ending July 28.
At 10:00 AM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the tape will roll for modern and classic films for kids, and for parents, the best part is the ticket price: $2.
The schedule of movies is as follows.
June 1 & 2: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, rated PG
June 8 & 9: Shrek the Third, rated PG
June 15 & 16: Monsters vs. Aliens, rated PG
June 22 & 23: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, rated PG
June 29 & 30: Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakuel, rated PG
July 6 & 7: Kung Fu Panda, rated PG
July 13 & 14: Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, rated PG
July 20 & 21: Aliens in the Attic, rated PG
July 27 & 28: Charlotte’s Web, rated G
Some of the proceeds of the Kids Summer Film Fest will go to children’s hospitals across the Mid-south.
The Kids Summer Film Fest is open to all residents of Smyrna, Murfreesboro, and everywhere else.
