One Dead, Two Wounded in Eagle Street Shooting
Around midnight on the morning of May 22, Nathan Morgan, Jr. was shot to death on Eagle Street in Murfreesboro.
Also wounded in the attack was Louis Sweeny, 37, of Nashville. Sweeny was sent in serious condition to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, said Kyle Evans, Murfreesboro Police Department spokesman.
Debris from the shooting gave Riviera Drive’s Byrus Hughes minor injuries, which were treated a Middle Tennessee Medical Center prior to his release.
As of the morning of the shooting, Murfreesboro Police Department had no suspects in the case.
